• From 29 December 2020 to 12 November 2021, 1,391 individuals tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 by PCR more than 14 days after receiving their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine and subsequently died with COVID-19 recorded as an underlying or contributory cause of death. This equates to 0.036% of those who have received at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
• In the last week, 05 November 2021 to 12 November 2021, age-standardised mortality rates for COVID-19 deaths were lower for people who have received at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine compared to individuals that were unvaccinated or had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
